Ingredients

  • ½ cup / 113.5 g Unsalted butter
  • cup / 156 g All-purpose Flour
  • ½ tsp / 2 g Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp / 3 g Kosher Salt
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp / 5 ml Vanilla Essence
  • 1 cup / 220 g Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cup / 50 g Granulated Sugar
  • ½ cup / 90 g Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
  • ½ cup / 58.5 g Walnuts

Instructions

Preheat The Oven and Prepare The Pan

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 175 degrees Celsius.
  • Grab a 7x7-inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper.

Mix Wet Ingredients

  • Into the cooled browned butter you prepared earlier, stir in the brown sugar and granulated sugar, and whisk to combine the butter and sugar.
  • Crack the eggs and mix with a whisk or hand mixer until the mixture has thickened slightly.
  • Add the vanilla essence and mix until well combined.

Add Dry Ingredients and Mix-Ins

  • Sieve all-purpose flour, baking powder, and kosher salt into the mixing bowl with the wet ingredients.
  • Using a rubber spatula, mix until combined.
  • Toss in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and walnuts and mix until fully combined.

Bake, Cool, and Serve!

  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and level it evenly with a spatula or the back of a spoon.
  • Bake the blondies in the preheated oven for about 25 to 30 minutes or until the top looks golden.
  • Once baked, allow the blondies to cool completely in the pan.
  • Using the parchment overhang, remove the blondies from the pan.
