Clove Tea Recipe

Warm, spicy, and totally zen- today’s clove tea recipe is a soothing hug for the heart and soul. Enjoy the calmness and gentle spice with every sip!

Ingredients

  • 2 cup / 500 ml Water
  • 2 tsp / 10 g Whole Cloves

For Flavoring

  • 1 tsp / 7 g Honey Optional
  • 1 slice Lemon Optional
  • 1 Black Tea Bag Optional

Instructions

Boil Water and Add Cloves

  • Grab a pan, fill it with water, and place it on the stove.
  • Bring the water to a boil.
  • Once the water boils, add cloves to the cooking pot.

Simmer and Strain

  • Reduce the heat to low and let the cloves simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Turn off the heat and pour the tea through a strainer into a cup.

Add flavorings and serve

  • Sweeten the tea with honey and squeeze in lemon juice for freshness(as per your preference)
  • Alternatively, you can flavor the tea with a cinnamon stick or a ginger slice for extra warmth.
  • Also, you can add a black tea bag before adding honey.
  • Stir well and enjoy the clove tea with its warm, spicy aroma and comforting taste!
