- 600 gm Boneless Chicken Breast
- ¼ tsp / 1.5 g Salt
- 2 tbsp / 30 ml Vegetable Oil
Teriyaki Sauce:
- ¼ cup / 60 ml Soy Sauce low- sodium
- ¼ cup / 60 ml Water
- 3 tbsp / 36 g Brown Sugar Honey
- 2 tsp / 4 g Cornstarch
- 2 tsp / 10 ml Rice Vinegar White Wine Vinegar
- ½ tsp / 3 ml Sesame Oil
- 2 tsp / 6 g Garlic minced
- 2 tsp / 4 g Ginger minced
Make the Teriyaki Sauce
Add the soy sauce, water, brown sugar, rice vinegar, cornstarch, and sesame oil into a bowl and give it a good mix.
Cook the Chicken
Place 600 grams of cubes of boneless chicken breast in a bowl
Add salt and give it a good mix.
Sprinkle a tablespoon of vegetable oil on the stovetop on medium heat.
Add the chicken and cook each side for 3-4 minutes.
Set the chicken aside.
Sauté the Aromatics & Add the Sauce
Add vegetable oil to the same pan on medium heat.
Sauté minced garlic and ginger in the pan.
Add the teriyaki sauce and cook it until it thickens.
Thicken, Serve & Enjoy
When the sauce has thickened, add the chicken.
Cook the chicken in the sauce for another 1 to 2 minutes.
Serve and enjoy.
