Ingredients

  • 1 cup / 339 g Honey
  • 2-3 tsp / 4 g Chili Flakes
  • 1-2 tsp / 5 ml Vinegar

Instructions

  • Warm the Honey Gently
  • Pour honey into a pot on the stovetop and warm it.
  • Add Chili and Infuse
  • Now, add your chilli flakes, fresh chilli, or powdered chilli to the honey.
  • Adjust Heat and Flavor
  • Taste the honey to make sure the heat level is right.
  • Add more chilli or honey to adjust the heat.
  • Strain or Leave As-Is
  • When the honey is still warm but not boiling, take it off the heat and strain it.
  • Let it cool down before serving.

Notes

  • Give your hot honey jar a warm water bath to re-liquify crystallized honey.
  • If your honey is too spicy, add more honey.
