- 1 cup / 200 g Granulated Sugar
- ¼ cup / 57 g Butter
- 2 tbsp / 10 g Cocoa Powder
- ¼ cup / 60 ml Milk
- ¼ cup / 65 g Peanut Butter
- 1 tsp / 5 ml Vanilla Essence
- 1 & ½ cup / 122 g Quick Cooking Oats
Prepare the Sugar Mixture
Take a pot and add room-temperature unsalted butter, granulated sugar, milk, and cocoa powder.
Put the saucepan on the stovetop and set the temperature to medium heat.
Start whisking the mixture till rolling boil.
Then, bring the mixture to a rolling boil and let it boil for 60 seconds (make sure to set a timer!)
Take the pot off the stovetop.
Add Peanut Butter, Vanilla Essence, and Oats
Also, add the peanut butter and vanilla essence to the mixture. and give it a good mix.
Add the quick oats and stir properly.
Scoop and Let the Cookies Set, and Serve
Take a cookie scoop and scoop the dough while it’s still hot.
Place the scooped dough onto a prepared baking sheet with parchment paper.
Make sure the cookies are far apart enough from each other, and flatten them using a spoon if they don’t spread properly.
Let the cookies set and cool down for about 20-30 minutes before serving.
