Creamy Mac & Cheese Recipe
This Mac and cheese could be a family favorite formula, loved by youngsters and adults. Boiling the Macaroni
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 cups Macaroni
Cheese Sauce
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp Garlic Crushed
- 4 tbsp All-purpose flour
- 3 cups Milk
- ½ tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Black pepper
- 1 tsp Red chili powder
- 2 cups Cheddar cheese Grated
- 1 cup Cream cheese
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese Grated
For Macaroni
Boil water
Add 1 tbsp of salt and 1 tbsp of olive oil to the water
Add 2 cups of Macaroni in it and boil it for 8-10 minutes or until the macaroni becomes soft
Drain out the water and wash the macaroni with cold water
Keep it aside
For Cheese Sauce
In a saucepan, add butter and let it melt
Add 1 tbsp of crushed garlic and cook it for 1 minute
Add 4 tbsp of All purpose flour and mix it thoroughly to avoid lumps and cook it until the mixture is slightly brown
Add 3 cups of milk and whisk it until the mixture gets smooth and thick
Add ½ tsp of salt, ½ tsp of black pepper, and 1 tsp of red chili powder for taste
Mix well and reduce the flame to low heat
Add 2 cups of shredded cheddar and whisk it well
Add 1 cup of Cream cheese and whisk it well again
Add 1 cup of shredded Mozzarella cheese and make a thick sauce
Add boiled macaroni in it and mix it until it combines well.
