Ingredients

Boiling the Macaroni

  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 cups Macaroni

Cheese Sauce

  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Garlic (Crushed)
  • 4 tbsp All-purpose flour
  • 3 cups Milk
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese (Grated)
  • 1 cup Cream cheese
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese (Grated)

Instructions

For Macaroni

  • Boil water
  • Add 1 tbsp of salt and 1 tbsp of olive oil to the water
  • Add 2 cups of Macaroni in it and boil it for 8-10 minutes or until the macaroni becomes soft
  • Drain out the water and wash the macaroni with cold water
  • Keep it aside

For Cheese Sauce

  • In a saucepan, add butter and let it melt
  • Add 1 tbsp of crushed garlic and cook it for 1 minute
  • Add 4 tbsp of All purpose flour and mix it thoroughly to avoid lumps and cook it until the mixture is slightly brown
  • Add 3 cups of milk and whisk it until the mixture gets smooth and thick
  • Add ½ tsp of salt, ½ tsp of black pepper, and 1 tsp of red chili powder for taste
  • Mix well and reduce the flame to low heat
  • Add 2 cups of shredded cheddar and whisk it well
  • Add 1 cup of Cream cheese and whisk it well again
  • Add 1 cup of shredded Mozzarella cheese and make a thick sauce
  • Add boiled macaroni in it and mix it until it combines well.
  • Your yummy and mouth-watering Mac and cheese is ready to eat, dish it out and garnish it with spring onions and enjoy it.
