Chicken Alfredo Recipe with Fettuccine Pasta

Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken breasts small size
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic granules
  • 3 tbsp cooking oil
  • 250 grams Fettuccine pasta
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp Coriander finely chopped

Instructions

  • To make this delicious Chicken Alfredo Pasta, start by sprinkling 1/2 tablespoon of salt, pepper, and garlic granules on the chicken breasts, flip these over and repeat on the other side.
  • ⁠Flip the chicken pieces a few times more to make sure that they are well covered in the seasoning.
  • ⁠Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a pan, over medium heat. Cook the seasoned chicken breasts for 4-5 minutes each side or until they are golden brown.
  • ⁠Once done, cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
  • ⁠Boil the pasta according to package instructions. Once the pasta is al dante, set 1 cup of pasta water and drain it off.
  • ⁠Heat 4 tablespoons of butter in the same pan used before and fru the garlic cloves until golden.
  • ⁠Pour 1 cup of heavy cream into the pan and give it a good stir.
  • ⁠Next add half a teaspoon of salt, black pepper, and oregano to the sauce. Mix well.
  • ⁠Lower the heat and add Parmesan cheese. Cook well until the cheese dissolves and the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Top the sauce with some chopped coriander and add the chicken pieces to the prepared sauce.
  • ⁠Mix in the boiled pasta and the reserved pasta water. Mix well.
  • ⁠Serve warm with a side of garlic bread.
