Chicken Wrap is not very common in the Southeast Asian country. But nowadays it’s getting popular especially in restaurants across the subcontinent. Its very simple to make and doesn’t take a very long time.

Also, it is very healthy because of all the salads inside and the grilled chicken. Although it might be a bit pricey at the restaurants, making it at home is not. I hope you like this recipe.

These healthy and delicious grilled chicken wraps are very easy to make and can be served as breakfast, launch or dinner. People who are maintaining a healthy diet, these chicken wraps are absolutely perfect and healthy for them. They may use the whole wheat tortilla and can switch the mayonnaise into the light option.

Ingredients

  • 200 Grams / 200 Grams Boneless Chicken
  • ½ Tsp / 2.46 g Salt
  • ¼ Tsp / 1.23 g Black Pepper
  • ½ Tsp / 2.46 g Chili Flakes
  • ¼ Tsp / 1.23 g Red chili powder
  • ½ Tsp / 2.46 g Mixed Herbs
  • ½ Tsp / 2.46 g Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 Tbsp / 14.79 ml Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tbsp / 14.79 ml Oil To Gill The Chicken

For The First Sauce

  • Cup / 66.67 g Greek/ Thick Yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp / 29.57 g Mayonnaise
  • ¼ Tsp / 1.23 g Salt
  • ¼ Tsp / 1.23 g Black Pepper
  • ½ Tsp / 2.46 g Red chili powder
  • ½ Tsp / 2.46 g Garlic Powder

For The Second Sauce

  • 1 Cup / 236.59 g Coriander Leaves
  • ½ Cup / 22.5 g Mint Leaves
  • 3-4 Tbsp / 44.36 ml Lemon Juice
  • ½ Tsp / 2.46 g Salt
  • 3 Tbsp / 44.36 g Greek / Thick Yogurt
  • 2 Cloves / 2 Cloves Garlic
  • 2 Pieces / 2 Pieces Green Chili For Salad
  • ½ Cup / 36 g Lettuce
  • ½ Cup / 74.5 g Tomatoes
  • ½ Cup / 66.5 g Cucumber
  • ½ Cup / 80 g Red Onion

Instructions

  • At first, take a boneless chicken breast, wash and pat dry it and cut it into 2 thin slices.
  • Then marinate the chicken with all the spices for marination (given above) and marinate for 30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes, Pan Grill the marinated chicken on medium-high flame. Cook each side for 6-7 minutes.
  • Then let the chicken cool and cut them into small pieces.
  • Now to make the sauce for the 1st chicken wrap, in a small bowl take 1/3 cup greek yogurt, 2 tbsp mayonnaise, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp black pepper, 1/2 tsp red chili powder and 1/2 tsp garlic powder. then mix everything well.
  • Then to make the sauce for the 2nd wrap, take 1 cup of coriander leaves, 1/2 a cup of mint leaves, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 green chilies, 1/2 a lemon juice, 1/2 tsp salt and 3 tbsp greek yogurt into a blender jug. then blend it into a smooth paste.
  • Cut some lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber and red onions into small pieces. Take around 1/2 cup of each. You can also take vegetables of your choice for the wrap.
  • Now to make the chicken wrap, take a tortilla, then spread a little amount of the 1st sauce in the middle and place some of the chicken pieces on top the sauce and then add a little amount of all the salads on top. after that fold it into a wrap.
  • Make the 2nd wrap, in the same way using the other sauce.
  • You can make 4-5 wraps using the amount of everything shown in the video.
