Instructions

  • In a ziplock bag crush the Oreos into fine crumbs (you can also use a food processor to do this step). Transfer the cookie crumbs into a bowl, add melted butter to that and mix until well combined.
  • Now press the cookie crumbs into a 9x9 inch pan lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate for 10 minutes to set while making the filling.
  • in a mixing bowl take the cream cheese and beat until smooth. Add heavy cream, vanilla essence, and sugar. Beat until well combined.
  • Now break some Oreos and fold into the filling. Then pour the filling over the chilled cookie crust and spread it evenly using a spatula. Add some crushed Oreos on top, but this is optional.
  • Freeze for 3-4 hours or until set. Once set cut it into 16 squares/bars and enjoy!

  1. Hi Spice Bangla,
Thank you so much for sharing this recepie!
Would freezing the cheesecake for 4 hours and then transferring it into the fridge change the texture of the cheesecake? or would it be ideal just to leave it in the freezer?

    Thank you !

  2. If I want to make the cake in advance for A party, after the cake sets in 3-4 hours, can I remove from freezer and just refrigerate until ready to serve? How long will it hold the texture in the fridge?

  3. can I just keep them in freezer and get out what I want? how long would these keep frozen?
